Built on a narrow lot and a steep slope overlooking Flowing Lake, this 2600-square foot home is perched among towering fir trees and features a warn palette of honest and natural materials. The use of rustic cedar siding on both the exterior and interior and the extensive use of glass helps to reinforce the "indoor/outdoor" aspect of this unique home and to focus attention on the views. The interior scheme includes wood veneer that complements the rustic cedar, and materials such as quartz countertops and glass mosaic tile were used in the kitchen and bathrooms. Translucent resin panels were used to accent kitchen cabinets, and were also used as sliding doors. Interior paint colors and light fixtures were designed to complement the abundant natural light. Simple, elegant and clean.
