Perched on a hillside with sweeping territorial views, this 3,625 square foot modern home was designed by Deforest Architects. The owners, who are empty nesters, wanted a simple, modern interior design that was easy to maintain, great for entertaining, and that could easily accommodate extended family visits. The predominant theme of “Luminosity” was used throughout the home, incorporating lots of natural light and the use of materials such as clear and frosted glass, translucent resin panels and skylights. A cooler palette of blues and grays was preferred, so vibrant pops of color were used to visually warm the spaces.
